One whole week in November, my morning devotions have been on finance and investment, Daily Hope by Rick Warren.
If OMF has – TSF, HSF, TFF, ILMF, etc. God has – GGF, GMF, GSF, GTF
*God’s growth fund (discipleship)
*God’s mutual fund (fellowship)
*God’s service fund (ministry)
*God’s global fund (mission)
*God’s treasury fund (worship)
That week, God spoke to me most about GGF.
I read Proverbs 23:23
“Truth, wisdom, learning, and good sense—these are worth paying for, but too valuable for you to sell.” (TEV).
“Buy truth — don’t sell it for love or money; buy wisdom, buy education, buy insight” (MSG).
God wants me to take some of my money and invest it for myself – in personal and spiritual improvement (2 Peter 3:18, TLB)
God wants me to develop skills and educate myself so that I can become the kind of person HE has shaped me to be.
Here is my reflection about investing in my growth fund. Sure profitable.
FIRST INVESTMENT: Two books newly launched during the recent International Book Fair – September

*Meaningful Evangelism
I intended to buy this book. It ended as a gift to me by the author, may dedication pa. Thank you Andy Smith. It is VERY helpful. I had my first meaningful Gospel sharing this year the night of November 1. Kaya mo din. Invest. Bili na.

These 2 books are now being shared with my friends and neighbors. I also bought a copy for my family in Ilocos for circulation.
SECOND INVESTMENT: Together in Mission – November
What is so wonderful about God building his Kingdom around the world is that he wants us to be a part of that building. I got a taste on partnership development & mobilization and understood the modular communication (love it!). Thank you Marilyn S and Susan C.
THIRD INVESTMENT: Training of Trainers – December
The 4 days training revealed to me the secrets to improve trainer's abilities. Thank you Emo Y, Susan C and Doris N who excellently modeled adult learning in all the sessions. I am aiming to be like that:-) Thank you Sarah McK.
After TiM and ToT, I realized that these are double bonus from God. I did not invest in these two trainings. God provided it. Wow!
I pictured these three investments as rich mine field -- will greatly contribute towards my growth fund.
Would you consider investing in your growth fund? Sure no bankruptcy. Praise! I am blessed by my God whom I love and serve. I cannot contain it. So much I got to give it away. I will. Share. Multiply. Matthew 28:19-20.
